I've led technology and security at companies ranging from early-stage to public markets. Most of my career has been at the intersection of engineering leadership and security — running both functions, often simultaneously.
Current work
I work with founders and boards as a fractional CTO and CISO. The work varies: standing up security programmes ahead of enterprise sales cycles, helping boards understand technical risk without the sales pitch, or providing a senior technical presence when the hiring timeline doesn't match the need.
Background
Earlier roles included CTO and CISO positions across fintech, SaaS, and infrastructure businesses. I've run SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programmes, scaled engineering teams, led incident response, and sat on technical advisory boards.
Before that: systems architecture, networking, and a decade of building things that had to stay up.
